Hot drinks: The perfect winter pick-me-up

Throughout the winter months, hot drinks are always the go-to drink to keep us warm and hydrated.

To keep up with the demand for hot drinks, the ideal solution in the workplace is either a hot water boiler or an instant boiling tap. Both solutions provide a consistent supply of instant boiling water, are more efficient than a kettle and avoid the queues in the canteen – an all round winner from our point of view!

What’s the best hot drink?

Obviously we love our traditional cuppas’ but for those of you on a health kick (or trying to be good) we’ve listed a few alternatives that provide additional health benefits.

Peppermint tea

Eases digestive upsets such as bloating & gas. It acts as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever and diminishes certain types of headaches alongside other benefits.

Ginger tea

From aiding the digestive system to opening inflamed airways, it can act as a health-promoting elixir for the full body.

Chamomile tea

Loaded with antioxidants, Chamomile tea can be very helpful for insomnia; it has a gentle calming and sedative effect. It is also recommended for use with a cold or fever.

Rooibos tea

Rooibos tea contains antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce inflammation and feelings of aches and pains. It can be beneficial to strengthen your immune system.

Rosehip tea

An excellent source of vitamin C, it can also help optimize your skin and tissue health, adrenal function and immune system.

We hope that we’ve inspired you to try some new tea styles. In the meantime if you require any further information about our hot water boilers or instant water taps.
